Denise Ing is a former resident artist at the Living Arts Centre whose work has been exhibited at Queen's Park and Harbourfront Centre. Departing from craft practices, her sound installation, The Hyland, was exhibited at Toronto Free Gallery in 2006, and her interactive installation piece, 12 Hours of Power, was featured in the 2009 Toronto edition of Nuit Blanche. In 2011, Denise collaborated with multidisciplinary designer, Ken Leung to create Wish you were here! for Come Up to My Room, and mined her shared history with artist, Kathryn Ward in Denise & Kathryn: the Sheridan years, 2001-2003 for Labspace Studio's In Memory show.
Denise Ing was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. After finishing an Honours Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Toronto, Denise graduated with honours from the Crafts & Design program at Sheridan College.
